Who is Rotary?
Today Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. In the beginning, Rotary was business leaders that believed by combining their skills they could do more as a group than as individuals. Today we are not just business leaders, we are anyone that believes that we all can come together to make this world a better place for all. We are people of action that have a passion to make our community a better place, to promote peace around the world, to fight disease, to provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, to save mothers and children, to support education, and to grow local economies.
Who is the Rotary Club of Keller?
We are the people of action that live right here in the greater Keller, Texas area. We are the people of action who believe that by joining with our neighbors, our teachers, our government leaders and representatives, other groups, and yes – our business leaders in a spirit of “Service Above Self” that we can have a great community. We are the people of action that believe that we can make a real and lasting positive impact on the world by promoting integrity in all that we think, say, and do. We are the people of action that believe through ethical leadership that we can work with people at home and around the world to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace.
